Animals thrive when they’re drinking clean water. Well-hydrated athletes—whether human or horse—need water to stay healthy and perform at their best. Lack of water in horses, for example, is a primary cause of colic. Our trough liners offer clean, cool water every day.
It’s safe
Our TroughSaver™ Liner material has been designed with extensive collaborative research to be odorless and non-toxic and is FDA-cleared for use in hospitals and food-handling industries. There are lots of not-so-healthy solutions for the water trough scum problem: goldfish, zinc, charcoal, copper—even chlorine and other tablets with undisclosed ingredients. Not only is it safe, but it creates an impermeable barrier which prevents chemicals that are in the trough itself from leaching into the water. We think your animals deserve better. TroughSaver™ Liners simply make the problems disappear.
It’s slick
Algae, slime, and other water contaminants find surfaces they can adhere to. Our liner makes that virtually impossible. It’s so slick, they can’t stick—even in the hottest summer environments.
